Major Snow of 2018!!

Helo everyone.. hope you all are staying warm and taking pictures of all this snow that start yesterday around 9 AM until now.

I had the advantage of getting out in the snow storm and taking pictures with my water proof Nikon digital camera to get the shots of the snow.

I wondered off to my neighborhood pond to take pictures of the snow storm brewing the snow everywhere it fell.

At first the weather man predicted 1-3 inches than 4-6. Then eventually they did not know how much we were getting. Then they did not know how much snow was predicted after that prediction so I kept failing all day long and I kept getting pictures of the snow from the very beginning of it.

I think tis snow was by far the biggest snowfall amount of 11 inches compared to the last snow storm we had two weeks ago with 1-3 inches.

Just to warn the Limpy old fart Al D, I got more pictures today of the snow after all this snowy weather finally ended last night around midnight.

Today its very sunny finally after all the snow we got yesterday. The totals around the triangle from the snow storm we amazing. The snow is almost 1 feet deep in some areas which equals 12 inches or a foot of snow.

Today I was able to get out again and ventured to my neighborhood pond once again to take even more snow pictures today. The shot you are seeing is the snow melting off a tree and failing to the ground, which this probably the best shot I have gotten so far today.

I will keep posting pictures ahead of the wimpy Al D. I will post some more later on today.

500th post

Hey everyone it’s Al with the very special edition the 500th post on my blog. This is a milestone that I have been trying to reach on my blog. I am going to talk about the 500h post on my blog.let’s go back to 1999 on this day for the 500th post that happened in Oklahoma in Moore in 1999 with a devastating tornado. On May 3,1999 , which has now been over 22 years ago. aA massive E-F5 tornado with wind speeds over 300 mph hit Moore and Bridge Creek Oklahoma and this tornado touched down at 6:23 pm and this tornado stayed on the ground for 38 miles with tons of destruction and killing many people to be exact 38 people . When this tornado touched down on the ground another tornado started forming in the same storm system that had produced this massive tornado of E-F5 status but this tornado that touched down right after the first was rated as an E-F 0 tornado, that did minor damage compared to the massive one that stayed on the ground for 38 miles. Monday Color # 9

Hey Hey its Monday color # 9 for the year on my blog. I hope you are enjoying this fall weather and enjoying my weekly theme on Mondays for color on my blog this year for the entire year. The color of the day for todays color post is a mixed variety of leaf colors for this Mondays color of my blog , that I also took at the Eno River on a photo outing with the impeccable Al D.

Just a little snow

Hey hey it Al back with a snow pictures from earlier today which I used My iPhone XR for these photographs of the snow , since I did not use my camera for these shots. We were supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow accumulation in this area but we only ended up with a dusting of snow. Some schools in the area of central North Carolina either did remote learning, delayed openings or closed for the day which one school system , did which was Chapel Hill Carrboro City schools. Even though, this was the only snow storm that Some snow stuck to the ground some did not stick to the ground due to the rain before that. In this shot, I did with the snow I used the snow as foreground element and used the remaining of the background to be blurred out to make an interesting photograph that came out really cool for this shot. I hope we might get another snow storm in February this year that might produce more snow and I can take even more pictures of it if is possible to happen this year in North C...
