December Dew

Happy December! Its hard to believe this is the last month of 2015 and soon to become 2016 in less than 4 weeks away.

What a messy and rainy week we had these past couple of days. This was defiantly a messy week and foggy weather too. 

I recently did dew drops this week after it had finally stopped raining. I quickly realized it was time to get outside and do some photographing again. 

I quickly grabbed my camera and camera equipment to head outside and enjoy the weather. I used my new macro lens I got for my birthday and did some experimenting with dew drops in these conditions which was great to get some practice in. Macro Photography is very easy for some and harder for others. I am in the more advanced stage of macro photography and still learning some new techniques for doing macro work. I am hoping to get more dew pictures soon I hope!

This is a milestone that I have been trying to reach on my blog.  I am going to talk about the 500h post on my blog.let’s go back to 1999 on this day for the 500th post that happened in Oklahoma in Moore in 1999 with a devastating tornado.    On May 3,1999 , which has now been over 22 years ago.   aA massive E-F5 tornado with wind speeds over 300 mph hit Moore and Bridge Creek Oklahoma and this tornado touched down at 6:23 pm and this tornado stayed on the ground for 38 miles with tons of destruction and killing many people to be exact 38 people . When this tornado touched down on the ground another tornado started forming in the same storm system that had produced this massive tornado of E-F5 status but this tornado that touched down right after the first was rated as an E-F 0 tornado, that did minor damage compared to the massive one that stayed on the ground for 38 miles.   Wh...

Monday Color # 9

 Hey Hey its Monday color # 9 for the year on my blog. Just a little snow

Hey hey it Al back with a snow pictures from earlier today which I used My iPhone XR for these photographs of the snow , since I did not use my camera for these shots. We were supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow accumulation in this area but we only ended up with a dusting of snow.  Some schools in the area of central North Carolina either did remote learning, delayed openings or closed for the day which one school system , did which was Chapel Hill Carrboro City schools. Even though, this was the only snow storm that Some snow stuck to the ground some did not stick to the ground due to the rain before that. In this shot, I did with the snow I used the snow as foreground element and used the remaining of the background to be blurred out to make an interesting photograph that came out really cool for this shot. I hope we might get another snow storm in February this year that might produce more snow and I can take even more pictures of it if is possible to happen this year in North C...
