Still getting out

Today I decided to call this post " Still getting out". Today I went to Battle Park, where i took Photos of nature and wildlife( I know right).. The red maples are very late this year due to the weather that has taken place this fall.

I have seen many colors this fall. I have seen many different types of wildlife this fall including Blue Herons, Northern Water Snakes, Squrriels, Downy Woodpeckers and many more birds. I have been experimenting with water dopl
ets this fall to photograph which is very cool.

I am still getting out in this fall to photograph many more things and wildlife .

This past weekend, I worked at Camp Royall. I have worked at camp for the past 3 summers and doing their mini camps this year. This past weekend we had the biggest mini camp ever with 32 campers!

I am looking forward to celebrating my 24th Birthday tomorrow!! I am getting old I know!

Right Sunrise conditions at Jordan Lake plus good birds

Today I did a sunrise shot with my photography mentor who seemed to be chimping some open his photos today.

This is a Great Blue Heron I took during the sunrise at Jordan Lake Today. We spotted a pair of them doing territorial stand offs which was impressive to photograph today as well.

This was the when the territorials between the two Great Blue Herons were fighting between which territory belonged to them. I got many good shots of this.

This is also a pair of Black Voltures that seemed to be enjoying this beautiful morning grooming and just hanging around the side of Jordan Lake which I also got many shots of them doing their grooming styles for the day.

The other photos I got included a swallowtail butterfly, bees and a new stump I got there today.

Hatching of Prey Mantis!!

Hey Hey its AL back with an exciting news from my house today! I have successfully, I have had 1 prey mantis egg sack today that hatched finally . I put 4 up in February 2020 and one hatched today which was amazing to watch and I got many pictures of them hatching from the egg sack today.

These are chins baby matins that recently had this morning and I got several different shots of them playing with each other after they were born out of the egg sack.

I have been waiting many years for the successfully hatching and it finally happened today! I got some portrait shots of them as well when they emerged from the egg sack as well.

I am looking forward to documenting and photographing the Chinese Mantis in the different life cycles this year and hopefully I get some more hatching pictures this week.
