The final sunrise & Sunset of 2019

This is the end of the sunrise and sunset shots I did for the final day of 2019 and for the final of the decade which was very cool to do . I have now done, the sunrise on Christmas Day and new years eve which was very cool to do because I had those two holidays off from work.

This morning on December 31st was somewhat not as cold as I thought it would be, but I still managed it get out to the neighborhood pond and get photos of the sunrise that morning which turned out to be fairly clear that morning which made some cool fartsy pictures that morning along with mist across the pond during sunrise conditions. I also have pictures of the mist coming across the pond as well.

Doing Mist photography during a sunrise shot is also what nature photographers want especially if it is good enough to photography but this time it was perfect conditions to photograph it during the sunrise conditions.

I was amazed at how well the mist was cooperating  that day with the sunrise conditions. I decided to use the limb on the tree as foreground element to lead you in the mist behind it which came out very nicely together.

That evening, I adventured out to my neighborhood pond again and got the same conditions as before during sunrise conditions to end the decade off on a positive note for my photography stand point of 2019.

In the case, the color were much different than the sunrise conditions that morning and the humidity was building up that afternoon , which was making excellent conditions to work with at sunset.

I got many different photographs of that sunset that night to remember the end of the last decade that just ended and hope to the same thing next year or maybe when the next decade is over in 2029.  Who knows if I will attempt it again we shall see if get the same holidays sunrise and sunset photographs in 2029 when this decade ends.

Step into Nature # 10

Welcome back to another post on my blog for this weeks Step into Nature. Let's see what adventures of the post we are going to do for this weeks Step into Nature. This a Tri- Colored Heron, Which I photographed at Pickney Wildlife Refuge while I was on vacation way back in Hilton Head. The Tri- Colored Herons a very cool waterfowl to photograph and they have different color variants compared to the Great Blue Herons found in Central North Carolina, where I live. If you have a chance to find TriColor Herons you should photograph them and they are just like the other waterfowl that can be found in central North Carolina . This is a Jellyfish, which I photographed at Myrtle Beach during sunset conditions. The photograph came out really cool. Jelly Fish are very interesting subjects to photograph at local beaches.  I decided to use the jelly fish as my subject for this photograph  during sunset conditions. This was also taken at Myrtle Beach when i was on vacation in 2019. T...
