Wake me up when September Ends

Just like the Song "Wake me up when September end s" is about the end of the day of  September. Which this happens to be today.

Yesterday I got the chance to go out for sunset conditions to see what was going on. I spotted apparently fighter jets of some sort flying overhead and got pictures of them as they were headed to the Raleigh Durham International Airport taken from my neighborhood pond.

It was very cool to take photos of the fighter jets coming over head over my neighborhood pond. This month has not been very much to take pictures of due to our recent Hurricane Florence that has made fall a little bit different this year. But I am getting some fall color pictures of leaves and wildlife. Hopefully October bring some more color and more nature to photograph.

Today I took a picture of an Eastern Bluebird taken at my neighborhood  pond. And Hopefully Oldie  man walkabout, Al D will not post as much as me in October, we shall see about that. Have a great rest of the week and I will post a lot this month before Oldie Fart Al D does.

Step into Nature # 10

Welcome back to another post on my blog for this weeks Step into Nature. Let's see what adventures of the post we are going to do for this weeks Step into Nature. This a Tri- Colored Heron, Which I photographed at Pickney Wildlife Refuge while I was on vacation way back in Hilton Head. The Tri- Colored Herons a very cool waterfowl to photograph and they have different color variants compared to the Great Blue Herons found in Central North Carolina, where I live. If you have a chance to find TriColor Herons you should photograph them and they are just like the other waterfowl that can be found in central North Carolina . This is a Jellyfish, which I photographed at Myrtle Beach during sunset conditions. The photograph came out really cool. Jelly Fish are very interesting subjects to photograph at local beaches.  I decided to use the jelly fish as my subject for this photograph  during sunset conditions. This was also taken at Myrtle Beach when i was on vacation in 2019. T...

Monday Color # 9

Hey Hey its Monday color # 9 for the year on my blog. I hope you are enjoying this fall weather and enjoying my weekly theme on Mondays for color on my blog this year for the entire year.  The color of the day for todays color post is a mixed variety of leaf  colors for this Mondays color of my blog , that I also took at the Eno River on a photo outing with the impeccable Al D.

Just a little snow

Hey hey it Al back with a snow pictures from earlier today which I used My iPhone XR for these photographs of the snow , since I did not use my camera for these shots. We were supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow accumulation in this area but we only ended up with a dusting of snow.  Some schools in the area of central North Carolina either did remote learning, delayed openings or closed for the day which one school system , did which was Chapel Hill Carrboro City schools. Even though, this was the only snow storm that Some snow stuck to the ground some did not stick to the ground due to the rain before that. In this shot, I did with the snow I used the snow as foreground element and used the remaining of the background to be blurred out to make an interesting photograph that came out really cool for this shot. I hope we might get another snow storm in February this year that might produce more snow and I can take even more pictures of it if is possible to happen this year in North C...
